HFTF03 - All Ancient Capitals

Highlights: Beijing, Xian, Luoyang, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai.

 

Itinerary:

 

Day01 Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, you will be met and transferred to hotel, overnight in Beijing.

 

Day02 Beijing

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and the temple of heaven.

 

Day03 Beijing

Tour to The great wall (with cable car), the imperial Summer Palace and pearl factory.

 

Day 04: Beijing/Xi’an

Transfer to airport and take flight to Xi’an---- the ancient capital city for 11 dynasties and the cradle of Chinese civilization. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built about 648 AD by Emperor Gao Zong in memory of his deceased mother, then visit Shaanxi History Museum.

 

Day 05: Xi’an

Full day tour to the famous Terra-cotta Warriors,thousands of life-sized clay figures.

 

Day 06 Xi’an/Luoyang

After breakfast at hotel, transferred to railway station for express train K626 (08:50/14:54) to Luoyang (Hard sleeper with A/C),you will be met by our English speaking guide, visit the white horse temple, built in Indian style, was the place where Indian dignitaries, She Moteng and Zhu Falan, translated Buddhist sutras and wrote sermons. In order to commemorate the white horses that carried the sutras from India, the temple was named the White Horse Temple in Henan province. The first residents in the Temple were two Indian monks, Kasyapa Matanga and Dhammaruji. Henan today is China's most populous province with over 95 million residents.

 

Day 07: Luoyang/Zhengzhou

After breakfast at hotel, you will visit The longmen grottoes and the famous shaolin temple,the birthplace of real chinese kongfu and breath-taking shaolin kungfu show there,then drive to Zhengzhou which is the capital city of Henan province.

 

Day08 Zhengzhou/Hangzhou

After breakfast, take morning flight to Hangzhou, met and transferred to hotel, cruise (approx 1 hr) on the scenic West Lake, the famous Green Tea (Dragon Well) plantation, overnight in Hang Zhou.

 

Day09 Hangzhou/Shanghai

After visiting the famous Lingyin Temple, take bullet train (First class) D5676 (15:55/17:27) to Shanghai, overnight in Shanghai.

 

Day10 Shanghai

After breakfast, visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund,cruise on the Huangpu river, Nanjing road. Enjoy acrobatic show in the evening.

 

Day11 Shanghai

Transferred to airport for your exit flight back to home, end of service.

 

Including:

1) Accommodation with breakfast.

2) All transfers; sightseeing; entrance fees with English speaking local guide and driver in private vehicles.

3) Beijing/Xian,Zhengzhou/Hangzhou domestic flight tickets (economy class) with all tax,train tickets of Xian/Luoyang（hard sleeper）,Hangzhou/Shanghai (First class seat).
